John and Mary have a total weight of 130kg. If Mary puts on 10kg of weight and John loses 10kg of weight, both of them will have the same weight.

ReplyDeleteThe total mass remains after each puts on and loses some mass.
So take 130 divided by 2 equals 65 kg
Mary's mass was 65-10 = 55 kg
John's mass was 65+10 = 75 kg.

Total 9 pencils ----> $9
1 pencil -------> $1
The cost of pencil is $1
1 pencil is the same as 6 pencils
Pencil box (6 pencils) = $6
The pencil box costs $6,
